Apoorva is a Minnesota native with a passion for emerging businesses, cities, and technology. Previously, she worked in the Connected Communities practice at Intersection, a technology and media company focused on the built environment, transit systems, and the public space. She has partnered with Sidewalk Labs to understand urban technology in emerging markets, specifically, in Medellin, Colombia. Prior to business school, Apoorva led organizational transformation initiatives at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Technology Services and Security and worked in asset management at J.P. Morgan in Minneapolis. In addition, she has been involved with the Bloomberg-Harvard City Leadership Initiative and the Harvard Kennedy School’s Taubman Center for State and Local Government to further cross sector collaboration in addressing autonomous vehicle policy in cities globally, with recent work in Buenos Aires.


Apoorva holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Political Science, Media Studies, and Economics with Distinction from St. Olaf College in Minnesota. She was selected as a member of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community.
