Joy is currently a Master’s student at Stanford University studying computer science and also received a B.S. with Honors from Stanford in computer science. Her research interests are in machine learning, unsupervised learning, and computer vision, and currently work at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and Stanford Yeung Lab. She has interned at Google, Apple, and DeepMind conducting various computer vision research across sectors. She is passionate about topics relating to algorithmic bias and advocates for data-driven equity policies.
